2TEC2 has a clear vision to strongly reduce the ecological footprint of flooring solutions. From innovative, sustainability-focused product design to rethinking our entire production chain, we are a sustainability leader in the woven vinyl flooring industry.
We are continuously innovating to make 2TEC2 flooring fully circular, step by step.

Our care
We take great care to operate sustainable and climate-friendly factories and are fully engaged in minimising our carbon emissions.
We make our floors in fully integrated production operations in one central location. As we operate completely in-house, we have total control over the entire production process, including for example waste management. In this way, we can avoid damage to the environment.
We use solar power, a smart heat recovery system, a sparingly water recovery technique and an energy storage installation in our factories, in this way considerably limiting reliance on nonrenewable fossil fuels.
The Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations are considered the best blueprint for a better and more sustainable future for our planet.
Covering a wide range of topics such as climate change, poverty, biodiversity, health and education, the SDGs are a call for governments, organisations and civil society to take action.

2TEC2 is REACH compliant, and qualifies highly for LEED and BREEAM ratings for your building schemes.
REACH is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health, and the environment, from the risks that can be posed by chemicals.
LEED and BREEAM are building certification schemes that ensure that buildings move towards the most healthy and eco-friendly building solutions. 2TEC2 flooring contributes to the LEED and BREAAM certification of buildings.
