2TEC2 is working towards a circular future and heavily invests in making its flooring more sustainable. European Carpet and Rug Association (ECRA) creates a platform for its members where they can share these kind of experiences and knowledge, with the aim of transitioning to a circular economy and protecting the climate and human health.
What is ECRA?
ECRA is an independent, non-profit organisation based in Brussels, Belgium. The association represents more than 40 leading carpet producers from 6 European countries, including 2TEC2. They serve as an international platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences between all members.
ECRA is committed to helping its members develop a coherent industry approach to make the transition to a circular economy. The aim is to continuously improve the carpet and flooring industry’s environmental and health impacts in order to help conserve natural resources, prevent climate change, and protect human health.
To achieve this, they conduct industry research and analysis, and develop international and EU standards on product level related to progressive carpet design, as well as health and safety.
