At 2TEC2, sustainability and circularity are part of our DNA. From a 100% recyclable product to our own recycling facility, these principles are embedded in our daily practice. However, this philosophy also extends beyond our core collections. Meet Cocono: our sister brand that transforms leftover 2TEC2 yarns into timeless interior pieces.
About Cocono
“Beauty lies not only in what is made, but also in what is reimagined.” That is the value Cocono stands for. Forgotten materials are given a new life, transformed into rugs, poufs, baskets, placemats, and coasters and other home accents that balance timeless elegance with thoughtful design.
Reusing 2TEC2 yarns
During the production of 2TEC2, surplus yarn or cutting leftovers are a possibility. These are leftovers in quantity, not in quality. That’s why the Cocono team came up with a strategy to give these premium materials a second life, translating industrial excellence into refined, functional objects for the home. Just like 2TEC2, they are durable and maintenance-friendly.
Le Tissage
Cocono was founded in Mouscron, Belgium, by Marine Hanet, daughter of 2TEC2 founders Katia Dewitte and Philippe Hanet. Both brands are part of Le Tissage S.A., the family company behind a range of Belgian textile brands: 2TEC2, Limited Edition, Cocono, Ruglines, Tuuli and Floorissimo. Though each brand has its own identity, we are united by a shared passion for design, craftsmanship and innovation.
