What was your inspiration for this interior design? How did it come to life?
“We had the desire to create an open and flexible learning and working environment. The combination of natural materials, such as wood and concrete, with soft, neutral tones creates a calm and balanced atmosphere. At the same time, fresh colour accents in the furniture and seating areas bring energy and dynamism to the space. The result is an interior that is both functional and inviting.”
How can a floor add to an overall interior design?
“A floor literally forms the basis of an interior. It influences the atmosphere, acoustics and user experience of a space. Because a floor covers such a large surface area, it strongly determines the overall look. The wrong choice can be distracting or create imbalance, while a well-chosen floor brings tranquillity, continuity and harmony.”
Why did you choose 2TEC2 as flooring?
“We chose 2TEC2 because it offers the perfect mix of aesthetics and functionality. The floor has the look of textile, but with the durability and ease of maintenance of a hard floor. This makes it ideal for intensively used spaces such as classrooms and meeting places. In addition, it is a material that contributes acoustically and adds comfort to the space.”

“Timeless – Durable – Comfortable.”
Did sustainability play a role in your project and how?
“Sustainability was central to this project. With 2TEC2, we opted for a product with a long lifespan, recyclability and low maintenance costs. This fits perfectly with our vision of creating a future-oriented learning environment that is not only functional today, but will also remain relevant tomorrow.”
What is your favourite 2TEC2 product?
“Our favourite is Hybrid Helios. This floor covering has a subtle, natural texture that blends beautifully with the concrete and wood in the interior. The floor is both neutral and warm, so it remains discreetly in the background while providing a refined base on which the rest of the design can shine.”

“Yes, we will definitely continue to use this floor covering in the future. The material is reliable, durable and is consistently well-received by both users and clients.
